From time to time, we seek to refresh the information provided to nursing care patients regarding their right to legal representation in proceedings before the Labor Courts and in related claims.

Employing a foreign worker in the nursing care sector may sometimes involve various legal challenges and complexities.

We would like to remind you that the Elderly and Legal Capacity Department of the Legal Aid Administration at the Ministry of Justice provides professional legal assistance and representation in cases involving labor law claims and related proceedings.

The service is provided nationwide and includes defense against claims, assistance in civil proceedings, preparation of enduring powers of attorney and wills, as well as the option to request that the Labor Court or the court appoint a representing attorney — a guardian ad litem — for the purpose of the proceedings, and more.

Legal aid is provided in accordance with the law and is subject to financial eligibility criteria and an assessment of legal merit.
